Final signal chain
Architectural decision: sources route through the HDFury VRROOM 8K instead of directly into the Sync Box. VRROOM splits each source's signal: video continues to Sync Box then S95F (Hue sync preserved), audio is extracted direct to Denon (lossless preserved on Kal — TrueHD/Atmos + DTS-HD MA). DV-mastered Kal titles get DV-to-HDR10 dynamic-metadata mapping. See the Audio chain page for the full routing rationale.

How to use this
One reference, broken into a web of cross-linked pages per Thariq's HTML effectiveness thesis. Read sections in order or jump to a device via the navigation. Every recommended setting traces back to a primary-source-cited research brief — citations appear at the end of each section. Source briefs live at .claude/research/personal/home_theater_2026q2/.
